Browny, The super pet

PET IS NOT JUST PET! THEY ARE HELPFUL BY NATURE AND SOMETIMES THEY CAN BE LIFE SAVIOR.

LIKE OUR PET BROWNY, MY SUPER PET.

BROWNY IS AN ASPIN, ALSO KNOWN AS “ASONG PINOY”. THEY ARE THOSE WHO LIVE IN THE STREET, ABANDONED BY THEIR OWNERS OR LOSS ACCIDENTALLY.

I MET BROWNY IN OUR FAÇADE. HE IS NOT FAMILIAR TO US AND HE IS VERY DIRTY SO WE IGNORE HIM.

FEW DAYS AFTER, WE SEE HIM AGAIN. HE LOOKS SICK, HUNGRY AND TIRED SO WE DECIDED TO ADOPT HIM.

AFTER A MONTH A HUGE TRANSFORMATION HAPPENS. BROWNY BECAME ACTIVE, ENERGETIC, TIDY, HEALTHY AND SMELLS SO GOOD. ONE NIGHT IT WAS BROWNOUT AND ALL OF US WERE SLEEPING TIGHT. THE CANDLE FORGOT TO BLOW, SUDDENLY WE HEARD A LOUD BARK. WE IGNORE IT; WE THOUGHT THAT BROWNY IS JUST HUNGRY BUT ANOTHER BARK WAS FOLLOWED AND THAT TIME HE JUMPED OVER MY FATHER. SO MY FATHER NOTICED THAT THE CHAIR WHERE THE CANDLE WAS PLACED IS BURNING. MY MOTHER RUN TO GET A PALE OF WATER, AFTER A MINUTE THE FIRE SUCCESFULLY EXTINGUISH. MY FAMILY IS VERY THANKFUL TO BROWNY. HE SAVED US FROM DANGER BECAUSE OF THAT WE CALLED HIMBROWNY THE SUPER PET!

FROM THAT EXPERIENCE WE LEARNED SOME LESSON. ADOPTING IS NOT A MISTAKE IT’S JUST A FATE.

HAVING A PET IS NOT JUST FOR FUN, BUT IN SOME CASE THAY CAN BE A LIFE SAVIOR AND PROTECTOR FROM HARM OR DANGER. PETS ARE TRUE NATURE, THAY WILL LOVE TOU AS LONG AS YOU LOVE THEM, HELP YOU IF YOU HELP THEM, AND SAVE YOU IF YOU SAVE THEM!

LOVE, LOST AND FOUND

We are always looking for something that will make us complete. Something that all this time, we thought we have lost. Something that pushes us to strive hard just to find it…

                When I was a child, I’m always dreaming of having everything in life. Until years passed by, I’ve noticed that I haven’t got everything. I’ve got frustrated of not having a certain thing but most of especially losing something, thinking if I could have it again.

                Until he came to our house.. .I looked at his eyes filled with emptiness. When I first saw him, I could say he needs attention, care and love.  I immediately hold him giving the things he needed. I stared at him again and I felt something nice. Something that makes my heart glad and I look at his eyes again, now, filled with happiness. He went beside me, started to make me feel that he was very thankful. I must say that we both feel the same, Rara became my best friend. He stays beside me through ups and downs. He brought color to my grayscale life and we enjoy every moment of our life.

Now we found the love that has been lost but found.

JAVERN

“These small but keen creatures,

Symbolize the real love of nature,

Swinging around the trees,

Sweeping away my agonies,”

                There are lots of pets. But people find each of them very unique, like me among those pets I choose a pair of Lovebird. They are cute and boisterous that is why many pet owners became enthusiast about them.

                My paired lovebirds are namely “Jav” and “Vern”. Their color was yellow with soft touch of orange in the lower back. Lovebirds are sensitive and affectionate mostly to their mates that is why I am very hands on in taking care of them. I consider things that might get them sick. I feed them regularly (hand fed) and I make sure that they will not be choking; I also clean their cage twice a week so that they will have a nice cage.

                Really, taking care of a pet is expensive, from their foods; accessories, shelter, medical supplies etc. but every time I looked and play at them there is something that makes me feel satisfy.

Here are the things that I loved by being pet owner:

1.       I enjoyed their company

2.       I feel relax every time I watch them.

3.       Satisfying.

Some disadvantage

1.       Very expensive.

2.       There are lots of things must be considered and sometimes it is hard to do.

3.       Most pets have short life span.

Remember that if you decided to own a pet:

1.       You must be ready in your responsibilities.

2.       Prepare your big budget and don’t compromise their health

3.       Choose the right pet that will fit to your character.

4.       The most important thing is to LOVE your PET.

PIGEON

When I was a child me and my brother is always thinking for pet to be taken care of. On the other case our cousin caught a female pigeon on his own made trap cage. He need a mate for his pigeon to reproduce… Fortunately we are planning to buy a pet so we bought a male pigeon and mate it to our cousins pigeon.

At first, we seem to see them fighting . It takes a couple of days bringing them together in same cage until they are totally like friends.

In these cases I realized that animals have their own way of living but they socialized like people too, after a several weeks we  can already let go out their cage. The good thing about pigeons is they know how to go back in their shelter without putting them back.

Another advantage of having a pet like pigeon is… you enjoy caring for them and when they reproduce you can earn money by selling.

GOHAN

SINCE I WAS A KID, I REALLY LOVE TO OWN A PET. I REALLY LIKE TO SHOW MY CARE BY FEEDING THEM A NUTRITIOUS FOOD; BATHE THEM AND EVEN TALK TO THEM, THOUGH I KNOW THAT THEY CANNOT RESPOND TO ME THE WAY THAT  I WANTED TO. FOR ME IT’S A FUNNY ACTIVITY THAT ME AND MY PET ENJOYED. AS A PET OWNER, I ASSURED THAT I COULD SPEND A BONDING MOMENTS WITH MY PET. BEING WITH THEM MAKES ME FEEL HAPPY AND RELAX THEY PUT EXCITEMENT TO MY CHILDHOOD LIFE UNTIL NOW.

GOHAN THAT WAS THE NAME OF MY FAVORITE PET. FOR ME HE IS THE BEST PET I EVER HAD. I TREASURED EVERY MOMENT THAT WE SHARED TOGETHER. IT’S BEEN A LONG TIME SINCE HE LEFT BUT I CAN STILL REMEMBER THE BEAUTIFUL SOUND THAT HE MADE WHEN HE BARKED. I HAVE MY NEW PET NOW BUT GOHAN IS UNIQUE, GOHAN IS GOHAN AND NO OTHER PET COULD REPLACE HIM. WHEN HE DIED, I CRIED FOR ALMOST A MONTH; A LOT OF CHANGES HAPPENED ESPECIALY IN MY ROUTINE AND IT’S REALLY HARD TO GET OVER AND FORGET OUR COUNTLESS HAPPY MEMORIES. 

THAT WAS THE SADDEST EXPERIENCE OF BEING A PET OWNER. BUT TO HAVE GOHAN, IS SUCH AN EXTRAORDINARY FEELING. SOMETIMES IT IS DIFFICULT TO OWN A PET BUT IT IS MORE ON ENJOYMENT.

WITH WHAT I HAVE EXPERIENCED, I COULD SAY A PET CAN REALLY CHANGE ONE’S LIFE.

AT THE END OF THE DAY, I REALIZED THAT I’ VE LEARNED A LOT FROM MY LOVELY GOHAN.

MY FISH IS GOLD

I USED TO STARE AT THEM AS THEY WIGGLE THEIR TALES ON THE WATER.
IT MAKES ME FEEL COMFORTABLE, RELAX AND BECOME MORE FASCINATED ABOUT THEM.
FISHES ARE WONDERFUL CREATURES OF GOD. BUT OTHER THAN ITS PRIMARY ROLE ON OUR TABLE, THEY CAN ALSO BE A LOVABABLE HOUSEMATE OR SO THEY CALLED “PET”.

I HAVE PETS WHEN I WAS 9 YEARS OLD, MY FAVORITE AMONG THEM IS A GOLDFISH, AND I NAMED IT GOLDY AFTER ITS KIND.
BUT AS OTHER CREATURE HE CAME TO PASS. HE LEFT AFTER 4 MONTHS AND 6 DAYS. I CRIED!
WHY AMONG THEM MY FAVORITE ONE DIED! I REALLY FELT BAD.
IT SEEMS TO BE MY FIRST AND ONLY PET THAT MY FATHER GAVE AS A GIFT.

I REMEMBER THEN, WHEN GOLDY IS THE ONLY FISH IN MY AQUARIUM, HE SEEMS TO BE LONEY SO WE DECIDED TO BUY ANOTHER SO HE WILL HAVE A FRIEND INSIDE.
BUT OF COURSE WE MAKE SURE THAT IT WILL BE A GOOD COMPANION NOT A FOE.
I REGULARLY FEED THEM AND CHANGE THE WATER AFTER ONE WEEK.
THERE ARE ALSO PLENTY OF PLACES TO HIDE, SO THEY COULD FIND THEIR PLACE PEACEFULLY.

Persy the Cat

My pet is a cat, cat with no special or foreign breed. But me and my sister raised it well, my mom always tell that we are spoiling our pet but for us we are only treating our pet as a member of our family.

Persy stays with her mat whenever he feel sleepy, and going around my feet to tell me that she is hungry, she likes meat than fish, she don’t eat rice and loves to play.

To have a loyal pet you must dedicate yourself to feed, clean, play in short you must give a part of your time to them…  treat them as your bestfriend or as a part of your family and animals do learn the golden rule “do on to others what others do unto you”

Don’t worry! Your sacrifices and time allotted will be replenished when you see your pet as great as u have wanted.
